ผ้ากราบ

น. ผ้าใช้สำหรับรองหน้าผากเมื่อกราบพระสำหรับพระภิกษุ  ใช้รับของที่สตรีถวาย  แทนการรับด้วยมือ คือ ปูผ้ากราบลงไป แล้วจับชายด้านในไว้ สตรีประเคนหรือวางของลงไปบนผ้านั้น ; คำนี้มาจากผ้าสันภัต

n. salutation cloth ; small piece of the yellow  robe used for receiving  the forehead of a monk  who kneels  down  with his hands and  head  touching the floor in salutation  to the image  of  the  Buddha  or  the senior monk ; it is also used instead of hand for receiving things presented  to the monk by a woman ; prostrating cloth
